This product supports the entire adrenal gland, both medulla and cortex portions. The adrenal cortex is the outer portion of the adrenal gland and is involved in the secretion of a variety of adrenal hormones, mainly cortisol. The medulla is the inner portions of the adrenal gland and is involved in the synthesis and secretion of epinephrine (adrenaline) and norepinephrine.

The adrenals are ductless glands of the endocrine system that are resposible for producing some of the most important hormones in the body. The adrenal glands use nutrients such as vitamins C and B6 to produce their hormones. The adrenals also use pantothenic acid, cholesterol and vitamin C to manufacture cortisone and other compounds. Pantothenic acid is widely recognized for its central role in adrenal function and cellular metabolism.
